As our business continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer to join our growing Projects & Operations team. Role Summary
Reporting to the Project Manager and Director of Projects & Operations, you will support the planning, engineering, execution and close-out of offshore projects from tender hand over through offshore execution to final project delivery.
The role requires close coordination with clients, vessel owners, subcontractors, offshore personnel and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Plan and coordinate offshore engineering and operational activities.
- Support the successful delivery of offshore construction, subsea and marine projects.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics and offshore execution activities.
- Monitor project schedule, cost and resource utilization.
- Support offshore mobilization and demobilization activities.
- Participate in offshore operations when required.
Engineering & Technical
- Review client specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
- Prepare engineering deliverables including execution plans, work procedures and method statements.
- Coordinate technical interfaces between clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in resolving engineering and operational issues during project execution.
- Support management of technical queries and changes.
Project Controls
- Monitor project progress against schedule and milestones.
- Maintain project action registers, risk registers and issue logs.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Assist with project cost tracking, forecasting and change management.
- Support project close-out documentation and lessons learned.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Participate in project meetings and technical workshops.
- Coordinate with clients, classification societies, Marine Warranty Surveyors (MWS), vessel owners and subcontractors.
- Develop strong working relationships with project stakeholders.
- Support commercial and technical discussions throughout the project lifecycle.
HSE & Quality
- Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS, risk assessments and toolbox talk where required.
- Ensure compliance with company, client and statutory requirements.
- Support incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements
Essential
- Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, Offshore or Ocean Engineering (or equivalent).
- Project Engineer: Minimum 5 years of relevant offshore project experience.
- Senior Project Engineer: Minimum 10 years of relevant offshore project experience.
- Experience in offshore construction, subsea installation, IMR, marine operations or offshore project execution.
- Strong understanding of offshore engineering documentation and project execution processes.
- Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore as required.
- Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficient in autocad for drafting of installation storyboard.
- Proficient in structural / lifting calculations for seafastening and riggings designs.
- Possessed BOSIET/GWO and Offshore Medical for offshore assignments.
Preferred
Experience in one or more of the following:
- FPSO / FSO projects
