Powen Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and manage electrical works across the project lifecycle. The role ensures safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgets and project specifications.
Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing schedules and documentation, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and supporting testing and handover activities.
The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing electrical works throughout the project lifecycle. The role ensures that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise electrical installation works at project sites.
Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Prepare method statements, work schedules, shop drawings, and material submissions.
Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and productivity to ensure timely completion.
Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues during construction.
Manage procurement of materials and ensure timely delivery to site.
Verify subcontractor work progress, claims, and completed work.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Prepare project documentation, reports, testing & commissioning records, and handover documents.
Support testing, commissioning, TOP/CSC inspections, and project close-out activities.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electrical construction or M&E projects.
Good knowledge of electrical systems, Singapore codes of practice, and authority requirements.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software is an advantage.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
