Job summary

LMC SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an on-site Civil & Structural Engineer to lead on-site technical and engineering activities in Singapore.

This role requires overseeing progress, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensuring quality standards and contractual obligations are met. You will participate in commissioning, inspections, and technical problem solving, while providing support to project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Familiar with Singapore building codes, regulations, and local quality standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site technical and engineering activities.
• Ensure works comply with quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Plan, monitor, and update project progress; prepare progress reports.
• Assist commissioning and coordinate structural engineering activities.
• Conduct site inspections and attend progress meetings; provide technical input.
• Provide on-site technical support to project teams and resolve design issues.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors; document solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for all on-site technical and engineering matters.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with company quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Plan, monitor, and update project progress, including preparation of progress reports.
• Assist in commissioning works and coordinate structural engineering activities.
• Conduct site inspections and attend technical/progress meetings to monitor work progress and provide technical input.
• Provide technical support to project teams and resolve design and engineering issues on site.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all project aspects, including providing solutions and proper documentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Familiar with Singapore building codes, regulations, and local quality standards.
• Good leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Independent, result-oriented, and a self-driven team player.
