Job summary

Quantum Automation Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee IBMS/BMS, Security, and ELV systems. You will review budgets, manage the project lifecycle, and coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure compliance and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing sales handover budget to project department with reference to standards in compliance with company policies, statutory requirements and contract specifications.
• Ensure project life cycle operation within budget and accordance to ISO set out.
• Perform project management duties including: project schedule preparation and monitoring progress; project submission (Documents & Drawing); sourcing and raising material procurement within budget; variation work quotation preparation; assist review on system implementation design from engineering department.
• Monitor site progress to ensure alignment with project schedule; identify causes of delay and take corrective actions; ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health policies.
• Assist manager prepare progress claim and support documents.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders, external parties and customers.
• Coordinate with engineering team on work procedures, scheduling, and ensure FAT, testing, commissioning, and handover are on time.
• Submit weekly installation and T&C progress reports to manager.
• As needed, take on new assignments.

The Project Engineer for the Building Management System (IBMS/BMS), Security System and Extra Low Voltage System (ELV)

• Assist in reviewing sales handover budget to project department with reference to standards in compliance with the company policies, statutory requirements and contract specifications.

• Ensure project life cycle operation within budget and accordance to ISO set out.

• Perform project management duties including:

  i. Project schedule preparation for manager and monitoring work progress as per planned schedule.

  ii. Project submission (Documents & Drawing)

  iii. Sourcing and raising material procurement within budget

  iv. Variation work quotation preparation for manager approval

  v. Assist review on system implementation design from engineering department.

• Monitor site progress to ensure in line with project schedule. Identify potential or actual causes of delay and take preventive or remedial actions. Monitor compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policiesand practices.

• Assist manager prepare progress claim and support documents.

• Attending site meeting and coordination with stakeholders, external parties and customers to plan, organize, and other related activities for the assigned projects.

• Coordinate with the engineering team to discuss work procedures, scope, scheduling, work sequence. Ensure all the FAT, testing and commissioning, training, and handover projects on time.

• Submit the weekly installation and T&C progress report to manager.

• As and when to take on new assignments.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages subordinates (supervisors) and other assigned project resources (subcontractor). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
