Job summary

TKM ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support multi-party coordination on structural steel fabrication and construction projects in Singapore.

The role involves coordinating among main contractor, sub-contractors, suppliers, and drafters, assisting the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and daily coordination. The candidate will liaise with engineers/drafters, review drawings, ensure shop drawings comply with drawings and specifications, attend site meetings,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel fabrication, steel erection, or construction projects.
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and shop drawings.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communication among the main contractor, sub-contractors, supplier, and drafter engineer.
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, scheduling, and daily coordination.
• Liaise with the main contractor's engineer and drafter for the drawing issue.
• Review and study related drawings before starting work, and ensure shop drawings comply with the construction drawings and specifications.
• Attend site coordination/progress meeting.
• Track material delivery to avoid delays
• Monitor project progress and assist in resolving coordination and technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
