Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure on a site-based environment. You will plan schedules, monitor progress, control costs, and handle safety compliance, reporting, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Construction Management, Engineering or related field required.
• 5–8 years of relevant site coordination experience in the construction industry.
• Experience under a Main Contractor environment with sub-contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate sub-contractor works from start to completion.
• Main Contractor Liaison: Work with the site team to follow instructions and schedules.
• Site Management: Oversee daily site activities, manpower, and materials.
• Schedule & Progress Control: Plan work schedules and monitor progress to meet timelines.
• Cost & Claims Management: Control costs, prepare progress claims, variation orders, and support final accounts.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure workers follow site safety rules and requirements.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare basic site reports and project documents.
• Handover & Defects: Coordinate testing, handover, and defect rectification after completion.
