Job summary

LIAN KEE ENGINEERING WORKS in Singapore seeks a Civil Engineer to manage quantity take-offs for steel structures, and to prepare shop drawings and cutting lists using CAD tools. You will coordinate on-site activities and verify drawings as needed.

You will also assist in submitting progress reports and liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for approvals, while working independently on duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural steel work and Singapore construction.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take-off quantity for steel structure and metal works.
• Produce shop drawings, cutting lists and steel layout plans using CAD systems.
• Site coordination and drawings verification where required.
• Assist & submission of work progress on daily, weekly & monthly reports.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers & subcontractors for approval/submission of drawings.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
