Job summary

EFONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD seeks a proactive Project Coordinator/Site Engineer to coordinate and manage construction projects. You will develop plans, resolve design issues, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with regulations to deliver projects efficiently and safely.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, manage timelines and budgets, and communicate with clients and stakeholders to maintain momentum and quality across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Site Engineer in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management and construction software tools to support planning and tracking activities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate challenges and develop creative solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Good understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Resolve drawing discrepancies by coordinating with architects and consultants before work commencement to prevent delays
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution and alignment of objectives
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to resolve issues promptly and maintain project momentum
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards to uphold quality and safety requirements
• Plan site activities including program schedules, construction methods, and forecasting equipment, material, and manpower needs to optimize resource use and control wastage
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to manage expectations and provide timely progress updates
• Continuously optimize processes and implement best practices to improve project efficiency and delivery outcomes
