Job summary

Nippon Builders Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to manage site operations and ensure compliance with project specifications.

You will collaborate with consultants, develop and monitor work plans, and coordinate inspections. The ideal candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 3 years of construction experience, with a proven ability to work independently and drive project milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years of construction industry experience demonstrating ability to manage site operations independently.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with consultants to submit and secure approval for materials and shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications
• Develop, implement, and monitor site work plans and schedules to achieve project milestones efficiently
• Enforce adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards, to maintain a compliant and secure work environment
• Prepare permit applications and environmental impact statements to facilitate regulatory approvals
• Coordinate inspection activities to verify quality and compliance of site works
• Diagnose and resolve engineering and technical issues promptly to minimize project delays
• Oversee site safety protocols and ensure proper execution of site work procedures to protect personnel and assets
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractor activities to align with project timelines and quality standards
• Execute additional duties as assigned to support overall project success
