Job summary

CAK & FG SURVEY PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to supervise site works and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure quality and safety.

You will prepare shop drawings and assist Project Manager with resource deployment. The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years in construction. You will monitor progress, align schedules with client programs, and ensure works comply with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement site works with subcontractors and other trades.
• Prepare shop drawings and documents for consultant approval.
• Assist Project Manager with resources and materials deployment.
• Attend site matters and address issues related to projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely, quality completion.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensure works align with contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed project schedules aligned with client programs.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery and receipt of goods.
• Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedures.

Job description

• Plan, co-ordinates and implements overall site works with sub-con and other related trades to carry out work safely.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials and necessary documents to consultant for approval.
• Assist Project Manager to organize and deploy resource/material for project.
• Attend site matters & complains related to project sites.
• Co-ordinate with sub-con and solve technical problems.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks.
• To monitor the progress as well as co-ordination with Clients, Consultants and subcontractors.
• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed project schedules aligned with client master programs.
• Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
• Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedure on site
• Minimum 5 years’ Experience in Construction Industry;
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction related field;
