Job summary

Moddesign Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and effective communication with clients.

The role requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, plus knowledge of PM best practices. Experience in interior design or carpentry is a plus, with a minimum of 2 years in related work.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of relevant work experience required for this role.
• Knowledge of interior design or carpentry is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of project coordination processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide progress updates and manage client expectations.
• Prepare and maintain schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Monitor progress and address issues to keep projects on time and budget.
• Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes.
• Plan all works on site including program schedules and construction methods.
• Support project managers in day-to-day operational tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and implementation.
• Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members to manage expectations and provide progress updates
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Monitor project progress and address issues to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Organize and participate in project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and record meeting minutes.
• Involvement in planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages.
• Support project managers in day-to-day operational tasks.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of project coordination processes and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in MS Excel / Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of project management best practices.
• Interior Design/Carpentry knowledge & experience in construction/furniture industry will be an added advantage.
