Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee on-site installation works for glazing projects.
• Review drawings, specs and site conditions to identify installation requirements.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Plan installation schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, access and deliveries.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve site discrepancies and coordination clashes promptly.
• Ensure materials are received, stored and installed to minimise damage and rework.
• Maintain site documentation: progress reports, measurements and inspection requests.
• Coordinate inspections, testing and project handover, ensuring timely completion of outstanding works.
• Ensure site activities comply with safety requirements and company procedures.
• Support the project team in monitoring costs, variations and potential delays.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to manage site activities for interior and exterior architectural glazing projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge of glazing systems, hands‑on site coordination experience, and the ability to work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and oversee on‑site installation works for interior and exterior glazing projects.
2. Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications and site conditions to identify technical and installation requirements.
3. Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions, interfaces, access conditions and installation readiness before fabrication and installation.
4. Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal production teams.
5. Plan installation schedules, manpower, materials, equipment, access arrangements and deliveries according to the project programme.
6. Monitor site progress, workmanship and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards.
7. Identify and resolve site discrepancies, technical issues and coordination clashes promptly, escalating major concerns when necessary.
8. Ensure that glass, fittings, frames and other materials are correctly received, handled, stored and installed to minimise damage and rework.
9. Maintain proper site documentation, including progress reports, measurement records, inspection requests, variation records and photographic updates.
10. Coordinate inspections, testing, defect rectification and project handover, ensuring that outstanding works are completed on time.
11. Ensure site activities comply with applicable workplace safety requirements and the company’s safety procedures.
12. Support the project team in monitoring project costs, variations and potential delays arising from site conditions.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in construction, building, architectural technology, engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant site coordination experience, preferably involving architectural glass, aluminium or specialist interior fit‑out works.
• Sound technical knowledge of interior and exterior glazing systems, glass types, fittings, installation methods and tolerances.
• Able to read and interpret architectural, structural and shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of site measurement, sequencing, access, lifting and installation requirements.
• Good coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to manage several work fronts and follow through on details independently.
• Comfortable working primarily on project sites and travelling between sites when required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and standard project documentation would be an advantage.
• Relevant Singapore construction safety certification would be an advantage.
