Job summary

The Inception Recruitment Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Project Engineer/Coordinator to bridge design and site execution in aluminium and glazing projects.

Fresh graduates with strong drive are welcome and will be mentored to master AutoCAD and Revit while coordinating with main contractors. You will conduct site visits, review drawings, and prepare progress reports and safety documentation, ensuring timely deliveries and alignment with project requirements in a fast-paced

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; Revit/BIM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Site visits to monitor progress, ensure installation quality and coordinate with main contractors.
• Review and interpret architectural/structural drawings for site alignment.
• Update shop drawings and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Attend site and consultant meetings to provide project updates and resolve issues.
• Prepare progress reports, material requisitions and safety documentation.
• Coordinate with production and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.

Role Overview

Our client is looking for a proactive Project Engineer/Coordinator to bridge the gap between technical design and site execution. Whether you are an experienced professional or a fresh graduate with a hunger to learn, we provide the platform for you to master the aluminium and glazing trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure installation quality, and coordinate with main contractors.

• Technical Coordination: Review and interpret architectural/structural drawings to ensure alignment with site conditions.

• Design & Drafting: Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to update shop drawings, create as-built drawings, and manage technical submissions.

• Meetings: Attend site and consultant meetings to provide project updates and resolve technical discrepancies.

• Project Documentation: Assist in the preparation of progress reports, material requisitions, and safety documentation.

• Coordination: Liaise with the production team and sub-contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of aluminium components.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related Built Environment field.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of Revit (BIM) is a significant advantage.

• Experience: Prior experience in aluminium, window, or curtain wall projects is preferred, but Fresh Graduates with a strong learning attitude are welcome to apply.

• Mindset: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with site supervisors and consultants.
