Audax Visuals Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Architectural/Interior Design Project Coordinator to manage design development and coordination across Singapore and China teams. You will liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure the project meets requirements from concept through installation.
The role requires strong reading of architectural drawings, proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit, and fluency in English and Mandarin.
Manage and coordinate projects from client requirements, design development, production, installation, testing, and commissioning through to project completion.
Serve as the primary liaison between Singapore clients, internal project teams, and China-based design and technical teams, ensuring project requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and implemented.
Coordinate with the China team on architectural design development, design drawings, technical drawings, specifications, installation methods, and system integration to ensure solutions meet project requirements.
Review and coordinate architectural drawings, CAD drawings, SketchUp models, shop drawings, design proposals, technical submissions, and other project documentation.
Work closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to coordinate design and project requirements.
Conduct site surveys and site assessments, coordinate site activities, and monitor project progress to ensure works are carried out according to approved designs and specifications.
Monitor project schedules, coordinate project deliverables, and follow up with internal and external parties to ensure timely completion.
Identify and resolve design, technical, coordination, and site issues, escalating matters to the relevant team when required.
Provide coordination and technical support throughout design development, production, installation, testing, commissioning, handover, and client training where applicable.
Ensure design intent and client requirements are properly communicated from the Singapore team to the China-based design and technical teams.
Coordinate design revisions and ensure updated drawings and documents are properly reviewed and issued.
Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, China teams, and internal departments.
Prepare and provide regular project progress updates, coordination reports, and issue tracking to management.
Keep up to date with relevant architectural design, interior design, construction, engineering, and technology developments.
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Candidates with an architectural or architectural design background are highly preferred.
Relevant experience in architectural design, interior design, project coordination, construction, technical coordination, or system integration is preferred.
Candidates with experience working with architects, consultants, contractors, developers, or construction teams will have an advantage.
Strong ability to read and understand architectural drawings, design drawings, CAD drawings, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, CAD, or other relevant architectural/design software is an advantage.
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin), with strong ability to communicate and coordinate with Singapore clients and China-based design and technical teams.
Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, presentation, and organisational skills.
Able to understand client requirements and translate them into clear architectural, design, and technical instructions for the project team.
Strong attention to detail with good understanding of design coordination, materials, construction methods, and site requirements.
Independent, proactive, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
Willing to conduct site visits and travel to project sites when required.
Candidates must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
