Job summary

VCARE SECURITY PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support and coordinate projects from start to finish.

You will liaise with customers, main contractors, suppliers and site teams, monitor progress, and follow up on outstanding items while ensuring Singapore WSH compliance. The role involves coordinating safety documentation, site activities and warranty matters, with opportunities to travel to different project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant Singapore WSH qualification/certification suitable for Safety Coordinator duties.
• Practical safety experience on Singapore project sites.
• Project coordination, site coordination, construction, or related experience is advantageous.
• Able to communicate confidently and professionally with customers, contractors and site teams.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to own matters until follow-up or closure.
• Able to work independently and provide updates to management without prompting.
• Willing to travel to different project sites within Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day project matters with customers, contractors and site teams.
• Coordinate projects from planning through delivery and handover, including testing and commissioning.
• Monitor schedules, progress, manpower, materials, deliveries and inspections.
• Follow up outstanding matters proactively and update customers and management.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors to meet requirements.
• Attend site meetings, coordination meetings and customer discussions when required.
• Coordinate submissions, drawings, method statements and handover documents.
• Identify delays or issues early and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate testing, inspections and project handover where applicable.
• Follow up warranty, defect rectification and after-sales matters as needed.
• Coordinate appointed subcontractors and track progress to close outstanding items.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and responsible Project Coordinator to support and coordinate our projects from commencement to completion. The successful candidate will liaise with customers, main contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, site teams and internal departments, monitor project progress, follow up outstanding matters proactively and support Singapore WSH/site safety requirements. The role also includes coordination of warranty and after-sales matters when required.

KeyResponsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day project matters with customers, main contractors, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
• Coordinate projects from commencement through planning, preparation, delivery, site installation, testing, handover and completion.
• Monitor project schedules, progress, manpower, materials, deliveries, submissions, inspections and site activities.
• Follow up outstanding matters proactively and keep customers and management updated without waiting to be reminded.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure project requirements and schedules are met.
• Attend site meetings, oordination meetings, inspections and customer discussions when required.
• Coordinate project submissions, drawings, method statements, supporting documents, progress records and handover documents.
• Identify possible delays, site issues or outstanding matters early, follow up with the relevant parties and elevate to management when decisions are required.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and project handover where applicable.
• Follow up warranty, defect rectification and after-sales matters after project completion when required.
• Coordinate appointed subcontractors and follow up assigned works until outstanding matters are properly closed.

SafetyResponsibilities

• Coordinate and support Singapore WSH and site safety requirements for projects where required and within the candidate's qualifications and competency.
• Prepare, review and maintain relevant safety documents such as Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures/Safe Work Method Statements, Method Statements, Permit-to-Work related documents and toolbox briefing records, as applicable.
• Conduct or coordinate toolbox briefings, site safety inspections, safety inductions and follow-up of safety observations or corrective actions when required.
• Liaise with main contractor safety personnel, site supervisors, subcontractors and workers on site safety requirements.
• Ensure required safety documents, permits and site arrangements are ready before work starts and highlight safety concerns promptly.
• Support safety audits, inspections, incident reporting and other WSH documentation when required.

Requirements

• Relevant Singapore Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) qualification/certification suitable for Safety Coordinator duties.
• Practical safety experience on Singapore project sites.
• Project coordination, sitecoordination, construction, engineering or related experience will be an advantage.
• Able to communicate confidently and professionally with customers, main contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, site supervisors and workers.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to take ownership of assigned matters until properly followed up or closed.
• Able to work independently and provide updates to management without waiting to be chased.
• Comfortable travelling to different project sites within Singapore.
• Willing to support project soutside Singapore when required will be an added advantage.
• Possess a valid Singapore driving licence (car and/or motorcycle) will be an added advantage.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to prepare project trackers, reports and project/safety documentation.
