Job summary

CHONG TAT CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD.

is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee logistical, administrative and operational aspects of construction projects, liaising with customers on requirements and progress, and ensuring works comply with drawings and schedule. You will plan work sequences and manpower, supervise workers and subcontractors on site, optimize resources, ensure safety, attend meetings, and report progress to the project team.

Qualifications

• 4 years of work experience in construction of private, HDB or civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin for communication with local and overseas customers.
• Diploma qualification or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee logistical, administrative and operational aspects of construction projects; liaise with customers on requirements and progress.
• Plan work sequence and manpower deployment for site works.
• Supervise workers and monitor subcontractors on construction sites.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials and consumables.
• Ensure projects are completed per drawings within deadlines and budget.
• Address delays, technical issues or difficulties on site.
• Ensure compliance with safe work procedures on site.
• Report progress to the project team; attend meetings with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• To be responsible for the logistical, administrative and operational for construction project aspects, including liaise with customers for project requirements and progress;
• To plan the work sequence and manpower deployment require for the construction site works;
• To supervise workers and monitor sub-contractors at construction sites;
• To ensure efficient utilization of manpower, raw materials and consumables for our construction projects at construction sites;
• To ensure that construction projects are completed as per approved drawings within the required deadline and allocated budget;
• To take actions to resolve any delay/ technical issues/ difficulties that may arise on constructions sites;
• To ensure the works at construction sites carried out are complying with safe work procedures;
• To report to project team on work progress at construction sites;
• To attend meetings with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants;
• To perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• 4 years of work experience in construction of private project, HDB project or civil engineering project.
• Able to converse and write in English & Mandarin in order to communicate with local and Mandarin speaking overseas customers.
• Diploma qualification and above is a advantage
