Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Accounts Executive (Project Accounting / AR & AP) at the Kaki Bukit location. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm. The role handles AP/AR, invoicing, reconciliations, GST, and month-end closing with reports and audits support.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Accounting (or equivalent) and 3+ years of accounting experience, with proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks, and knowledge of GST and import/export processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• LCCI, CAT or equivalent accounting qualification will be an advantage.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in engineering, trading, import/export or project-based industries.
• Experience in inventory accounting, project costing and billing will be an advantage.
• Familiar with GST, month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation and logistics processes will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and supplier payments promptly.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections and ageing reports.
• Perform supplier statement, bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain inventory records, monitor stock movements and conduct quarterly stock takes.
• Coordinate shipment documentation, GST declarations and quarterly GST filings.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
• Update project cost sheets and support accurate billing and revenue recognition.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with audits by providing schedules and supporting documents.
• Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers on finance-Coordinate business travel arrangements, including flight, hotel and visa bookings.
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes and perform other duties assigned.
