Job summary

THYE HUA KWAN MORAL CHARITIES LIMITED in Singapore seeks a Programme and Residents Manager to lead and coordinate welfare programmes for residents, aligned with curriculum objectives.

You will develop and review therapies, supervise volunteers, manage partnerships with social service agencies, and ensure progress reports are up to date.

A Diploma in a related field and strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills are required; 42-hour week, five days.

Responsibilities

• Support activities in line with curriculum objectives and programme philosophy.
• Introduce, implement rehabilitative therapies and/or programmes; review relevance.
• Coordinate and plan in-house programmes; update ICP reports with case workers.
• Collaborate with the programme team to deliver rostered activities.
• Develop program materials; design and implement group activities.
• Work with key workers on behaviour management strategies.
• Monitor progress against residents' care plan goals.
• Source, develop and sustain collaborations with partner agencies and volunteers.
• Maintain the volunteer database.

Job description

Programme and Residents management

• Part of a multi-disciplinary team to support activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy

• Introduce, implement rehabilitative therapies and/or programmes. Review and evaluate therapies and programmes to see if they are relevant to residents.

• Facilitate, coordinate and plan in-house programmes for residents. Monitor residents' involvement for in-house activities and update individual residents' care plan (ICP) report to respective case or social workers/managers

• Work closely with the Programme team to ensure programmes rostered to do are delivered

• Plan, develop program materials, design and implement group activities

• Work with key workers to implement strategies for behaviour management

• Responsible for progress monitoring of achievement of residents' care plan goals

Community Partnership and Volunteer Management

• Source, develop and sustain collaborations with other social service agencies, community stakeholders, corporate partners and, government agencies where necessary for effective programme and volunteer management

• Work with volunteers to deliver volunteer led programmes

• Responsible for maintaining the volunteer database
