Job summary

STERIS in Singapore is seeking a Production Technician to help keep our production operations running safely and efficiently. You will set up and monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance and support quality checks to ensure we meet production and quality targets.

Minimum NITEC level and above; relevant manufacturing experience preferred; forklift driving licence is a plus. You will work in a challenging 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends, and must follow

Qualifications

• Must have minimum NITEC level or above.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Ability to distinguish colours accurately for product identification.
• Forklift licence preferred where forklift operation is required.
• Able to perform basic calculations for production activities.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Adaptable to changing operational requirements.
• Able to follow written work instructions and production documentation in English.
• Able to work in a 12-hour rotating shift, including weekends, based on the roster.

Responsibilities

• Understand, perform and record tasks per Quality Management Documents and Customer Documents.
• Handle customer products from receipt to delivery including receiving, inspections, preparation for sterilization, sterilization testing, aeration, and loading.
• Monitor raw materials and service required.
• Suggest ideas for continual improvement.
• Any other task as assigned by Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager.

From setting up and monitoring equipment to troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance and supporting quality checks, you will help ensure we consistently meet our production and quality targets.

What You Will Do

• Understand, perform and record task performed in accordance with Quality Management Documents and Customer Documents
• Handle customer products from receipt to delivery. Includes receiving, inspections, preparation for sterilization, sterilization testing, aeration, and loading into a container or truck
• Monitor raw materials and service required
• Suggest ideas for continual improvement
• Any other task as assigned by Production Supervisor and or Production Manager

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

• Minimum NITEC level and above
• Relevant working experience in manufacturing, production or service environment is preferred
• Able to distinguish colours accurately where required for product identification, inspection or safety-related tasks.
• Possession of a valid forklift driving licence is preferred where forklift operation is required for the role.
