Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing Singapore Pte. Ltd. Boon Lay is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor for a 1-year contract. You will supervise daily production activities, mentor a team of assemblers and operators, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role demands a diploma in engineering or manufacturing, 2–3 years of leadership experience, proficiency in MS Office and MES, and the ability to train staff to meet productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering/manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-3 years managing production staff and processes, including supervising, planning, and directing production to produce quality products
• Ability to train and motivate line employees to achieve production goals
• Proficient in MS Office
• Proficiency in MES manufacturing software systems

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet targets.
• Lead and mentor a team of production assemblers and operators.
• Monitor processes, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
• Manage production stores inventory.
• Track production metrics such as yield and cycle time.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and uphold a safe work environment.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area
