Job summary

MANPOWER STAFFING SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD seeks a Team Leader to lead production associates in achieving targets with quality and efficiency. You will monitor quality, conduct daily meetings, and report performance while coordinating assembly across areas.

You will drive process improvements, support new product introductions, ensure equipment effectiveness, and train staff including onboarding for new hires and junior leaders. Safety and 5S are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Team Leader experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environment.
• Able to investigate production or quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Good reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to calculate takt time, manpower, and production line balancing requirements.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production associates to ensure production targets are achieved on time, with good quality and efficiency.
• Monitor product quality during production and report any production or quality issues promptly to management.
• Conduct daily team meetings and provide daily production performance reports.
• Perform assembly operations on complex components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies across multiple production areas.
• Suggest process improvements and support implementation activities.
• Support new product and model introductions.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operating effectively.
• Train and guide associates on proper production processes and operational skills.
• Support onboarding and training for new employees and junior team leaders.
• Support cross-training activities among different production areas.
• Monitor attendance and assist supervisors in workforce management.
• Maintain a good understanding of company processes and procedures.
• Support probation evaluations and training for new hires.
• Ensure workplace safety and report any safety concerns or improvement opportunities.
• Escalate production-related issues promptly and provide possible solutions.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards within the work area.
