Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) in Singapore is hiring for a Production Supervisor on a 1-year contract (renewal/ convertible). Location is Boon Lay, Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5:15pm, with a salary of up to SGD 3,700 plus a completion bonus.

You will lead and mentor a production team, supervise daily activities to meet targets, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and compliance with work instructions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering/Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years managing production staff and processes, including supervising, planning and directing production to quality.
• Ability to train and motivate line employees to achieve production goals.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Proficiency with manufacturing software such as MES.

Responsibilities

• Performs system integration and testing according to work instruction or test plan.
• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and ensure efficient resource use.
• Lead and mentor a team of production assemblers and test operators for productivity, quality and safety.
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
• Manage production stores inventory.
• Track production metrics such as yield and cycle time and take actions to meet targets.
• Conduct regular safety inspections/audits to maintain a safe work environment.
• Practice good housekeeping at all times in the work area.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs system integration and testing according to work instruction or procedure and test plan
• Performs all duties in a safe manner and keeps all employees aware of dangers in work area
• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules
• Lead and mentor a team of production assemblers and test operators, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of productivity, quality, and safety
• Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce waste
• Manage production stores inventory
• Track and analyze production metrics, such as yield, and cycle time, and take appropriate actions to achieve performance targets
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations, maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
• Practices good housekeeping at all times in the work area
