Job summary

Tech Aalto Pte ltd is seeking an Operations Support Engineer (Software Engineering) to support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to engineering fixes. You will read code, write scripts, and perform small engineering tasks within a software development team to ensure reliability, stability, and performance of enterprise and cloud systems.

The role collaborates with engineering, product, and support teams in an Agile environment to balance operational and engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• 2–5 years in technical operations or software engineering.
• Experience supporting production applications and cloud platforms.
• Ability to read/modify code for debugging.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js/Python/SQL.
• Familiar with Git and deployment workflows.
• Strong incident and ticket management.
• Experience in Agile or cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for production applications, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents using logs, monitoring tools, browser developer tools, and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot issues across web applications, APIs, integrations, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
• Read, understand, and modify application code to support troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Develop scripts or small utilities to improve troubleshooting, automate recurring tasks, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Implement and validate minor bug fixes or software changes under guidance and code review.
• Take on development or engineering tickets when required and work collaboratively with the software engineering team.
• Manage support tickets, communicate clearly with users and stakeholders, and drive incidents through to resolution.
• Participate in Agile and cross-functional product team workflows.
• Balance operational support responsibilities with engineering work based on team and product priorities.
