Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Production Support professional to ensure the reliability of critical front-office applications in a cloud-based environment. You will work with business users, application owners, and tech teams to resolve incidents, automate repetitive tasks, and improve platform stability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud experience, plus solid incident and problem management skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Production Support, Application Support, or SRE environment.
• Strong incident management, problem management, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and Bash/Shell scripting.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes-based applications, including troubleshooting pods.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with Control-M, Autosys, or similar enterprise scheduling tools.
• Strong SQL and database troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with business users.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and own issues through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for critical business applications, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents with root cause analysis before escalation.
• Monitor applications, infrastructure, and scheduled jobs, proactively addressing issues.
• Troubleshoot across cloud, Kubernetes, Linux, databases, and application layers.
• Support batch scheduling platforms such as Control-M or Autosys.
• Communicate incident updates clearly to business users and manage expectations.
• Drive automation to reduce repetitive tasks and improve support processes.
• Collaborate with technology teams to improve platform reliability and resiliency.
• Participate in on-call and weekend support rotation as needed.
• Contribute to SRE initiatives around monitoring, observability, and best practices.
