Job summary

ULTRA CLEAN ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable Supervisor to lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will drive daily targets, ensure quality and safety, manage cross training, and maintain shift discipline while upholding housekeeping standards and lean practices.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years as a Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Experience leading a team of 50+ Operators/Technicians and coordinating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians to achieve daily targets.
• Supervise production activities end-to-end.
• Plan and manage cross-training to upgrade operator skills.
• Ensure check sheets and records are maintained.
• Enforce shop floor discipline, safety and housekeeping.
• Identify risks on the production floor and implement controls.
• Lead productivity improvement projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians to achieve daily manufacturing targets within acceptable quality and safety level
• Overall supervision of production activities
• Plan and manage cross training program for Production Operators/Technicians in upgrading individual skills and job knowledge
• Ensure subordinates carry out necessary check sheets and record sheets before, during and after activities (as required)
• Enforce shop floor discipline control with good housekeeping and safety at the workplace
• Ensure risks and gaps in production floor are identified and control measures in placed
• Lead in productivity improvement projects
• Able to perform and support any other tasks as instructed by Superior

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in MS Office, Outlook, SAP and good understanding of LEAN concept
• Effective communication skills in building key relationships with your team and other departments
• Good problem solving skills
• Positive working attitude and independent
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in any Engineering or its equivalent

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 3 years working experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with proven track record in leading a team of >50 Operators /Technicians
• Able to commit to 8 hours shift (Day/Night)

Work Experience:

• Preferably with at least 3 years supervising role in contract manufacturing
