Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Singapore seeks a seasoned Production Supervisor to lead a large team and meet daily manufacturing targets while upholding quality and safety.

You will supervise production activities, plan cross-training for 50+ operators, enforce discipline, drive productivity improvements, and collaborate with other departments. Diploma/engineering degree and 3+ years in a supervisory role are required; willingness to work day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years as a Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership with a track record of guiding 50+ Operators/Technicians.
• Willing to commit to 8-hour shifts (Day/Night).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians to meet daily targets with quality and safety.
• Oversee all production activities and provide guidance as needed.
• Plan cross-training to upgrade skills and job knowledge.
• Ensure check sheets and record sheets are completed before, during, and after activities.
• Enforce shop floor discipline, housekeeping and safety at work.
• Identify risks on the floor and implement control measures.
• Lead productivity improvement projects.
• Perform other tasks as instructed by Superior.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize and lead a team of Production Operators/Technicians to achieve daily manufacturing targets within acceptable quality and safety level
• Overall supervision of production activities
• Plan and manage cross training program for Production Operators/Technicians in upgrading individual skills and job knowledge
• Ensure subordinates carry out necessary check sheets and record sheets before, during and after activities (as required)
• Enforce shop floor discipline control with good housekeeping and safety at the workplace
• Ensure risks and gaps in production floor are identified and control measures in placed
• Lead in productivity improvement projects
• Able to perform and support any other tasks as instructed by Superior

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in MS Office, Outlook, SAP and good understanding of LEAN concept
• Effective communication skills in building key relationships with your team and other departments
• Good problem solving skills
• Positive working attitude and independent
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in any Engineering or its equivalent

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 3 years working experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with proven track record in leading a team of >50 Operators /Technicians
• Able to commit to 8 hours shift (Day/Night)

Work Experience:

• Preferably with at least 3 years supervising role in contract manufacturing
