Job summary

Emerson Automation Solutions Final Control Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Production Planner to translate customer demand into executable production plans and ensure on-time delivery, quality, and continuous improvement across functions.

You will develop master production schedules, manage S&OP inputs, monitor progress, and collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and engineering to optimize resources and reduce lead times in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in a related field with 2–3 years' experience.
Practical experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of production planning concepts, capacity planning, and material requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse teams.
Ability to analyze data, prioritize work, and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for analysis, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain master production schedules for assigned product families to support customer demand and business objectives.
Prepare and manage Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) inputs, monthly production plans, and weekly production schedules.
Monitor execution of production plans, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
Analyze backlog, current demand, and forecasts to effectively prioritize and sequence production activities.
Track production progress and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
Evaluate schedule changes, delays, or interruptions and adjust plans to maintain delivery commitments.
Plan and prioritize manufacturing operations to optimize resources, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times.
Determine manpower, equipment, and material requirements to support production demand.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including manufacturing, sourcing, customer care, logistics, and engineering, to drive operational excellence.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process optimization, and the implementation of best practices.
Maintain accurate planning data and performance metrics to support informed decision‑making.
