Job summary

Emerson Singapore is seeking a Production Planner to translate customer demand into executable production plans in a dynamic manufacturing setting. You will develop master production schedules, manage S&OP inputs, and coordinate across manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, and engineering to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in related field with 2–3 years working experience.
• Practical experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of production planning concepts, capacity planning, and material requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Ability to analyze data, prioritize work, and manage multiple activities in a fast paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for analysis, planning, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules for assigned product families to support customer demand and business objectives.
• Prepare and manage S&OP inputs, monthly production plans, and weekly production schedules.
• Monitor execution of production plans, identifying risks and implementing solutions to minimize disruptions.
• Analyze backlog, current demand, and forecasts to prioritize and sequence production activities.
• Track production progress and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure quality and customer requirements.
• Evaluate schedule changes, delays, or interruptions and adjust plans to maintain delivery commitments.
• Plan and prioritize manufacturing operations to optimize resources, improve efficiency, and reduce lead times.
• Determine manpower, equipment, and material requirements to support production demand.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, sourcing, customer care, logistics, and engineering to drive operational excellence.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, process optimization, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate planning data and performance metrics to support informed decision-making.
