Job summary

HAI SIA SEAFOOD PTE. LTD. is seeking a Seafood Production Operator for a full-time permanent role based in Singapore.

Work hours run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 60-minute meal break, 3–6 days per week. Location at 35A Fishery Port Road, Singapore, benefits include staff meals, medical leave, staff discounts on seafood, and profit-sharing opportunities. You will identify seafood species, operate slicing and packaging machinery, handle weighing and labeling, ensure quality, follow safety

Qualifications

• Able to work in a cold and wet environment.
• Physically able to lift to 25kg frequently.
• No known seafood allergies (required for product handling).
• Requires physical endurance for extended periods of standing.
• Basic literacy and communication skills in English.
• Positive, proactive attitude towards learning and teamwork.
• High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Identify the various seafood species, parts and sizes for processing and packaging.
• Operate machinery and equipment for slicing, portioning, and packaging of seafood products.
• Perform manual tasks such as weighing, cutting, pin-boning, deshelling, plating and bagging of seafood.
• Sort and pack products based on customer orders.
• Label products with important information (production date, nett weight, country of origin).
• Identify and address quality issues with team leads.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the processing area.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions and promote safety awareness.

Job Description

• Identify the various seafood species, parts and sizes for processing and packaging
