Job summary

Hai Sia Seafood Pte Ltd is seeking a meticulous and motivated Production Operator (Part-Time) to join the team in Singapore. In this role you will weigh, pack, seal and label seafood products while ensuring quality, food safety and minimal wastage.

Training is provided; no experience required. You will work on a cold processing environment around 13 degrees Celsius and must read basic English or Chinese labels. Applicants must have valid work authorization to work in Singapore.

• Careful and accurate with weighing and labelling.
• Able to keep up a steady pace and follow instructions.
• Good team player who helps colleagues and speaks up when something is wrong.
• Able to work on your feet in a cold food processing environment around 13 degree celsius.
• Able to read basic English and/or Chinese labels.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, plate and pack fish, prawns and squid to the right weight, layout and appearance.
• Pack and seal products using machines (skin-pack, vacuum and lid sealing machines).
• Print and attach labels with the correct delivery date and quantity.
• Check the products, seals and labels before handing over to the next station.
• Keep waste low and work area clean and safe.
