Job summary

THESEAFOODCOMPANY PTE. LTD. in Bedok Food City seeks a dedicated team member for our fish processing department. You will help ensure seafood products are produced, packed and handled to the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating the production line, packing and labeling, maintaining GMP and workplace safety, and performing housekeeping tasks. Training is provided, with emphasis on teamwork in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or processing is an advantage.
• Able to work in a cold/chilled environment.
• Willing to be trained for GMP and safety standards.
• Strong teamwork and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line tasks in fish processing as directed by supervisor.
• Pack, label, and store raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain GMP compliance and workplace safety at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping and equipment setup/ Cleaning.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties as required.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking member to join our dynamic fish processing department at Bedok Food City. In this role, you will be an essential part of our production team, ensuring our seafood products are processed, packed, and handled to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Line Operations: Perform general production work in the fish processing line as assigned by the supervisor.
• Packing & Inventory: Carefully pack, label, and store raw materials as well as finished seafood products in their designated storage areas.
• Hygiene & Compliance: Strictly comply with and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to all workplace safety and health standards at all times.
• Housekeeping & Maintenance: Maintain a pristine working environment by performing general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, setting up equipment, and sanitising all food appliances.
• Ad-Hoc Support: Execution of other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company management.

Job Requirements

• Comfortable working in a cold/chilled food processing environment.
• Able to handle raw fish and seafood products.
• Prior experience in food manufacturing, food handling, or a similar processing role is an advantage (training will be provided).
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to processing and packing.
