Job summary

COMMONWEALTH CULINARY CREATIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a motivated Production Assistant to join our pastry, bakery, and savoury teams.

You will perform hands-on preparation, baking, finishing, and assist with ingredient measuring, recipe adherence, and equipment operation. Rotating across departments as needed, you will support packing, labeling, dispatch, and production documentation while upholding strict hygiene and food safety standards, including ISO 22000 and local regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Experience in food manufacturing is an advantage.
• Physically fit to perform manual work.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on work in preparation, baking, and finishing of pastry, bakery, and savoury products.
• Assist in ingredient preparation and follow recipes accurately.
• Operate production equipment safely (mixers, ovens, sheeters).
• Monitor production for consistent quality and presentation.
• Support packing, labeling, and dispatch to specifications.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and traceability of products.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene per food safety standards.
• Rotate across pastry, bakery, and packing departments as needed.
• Assist with production documentation and admin tasks.
• Undertake ad hoc duties or projects as assigned.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in ingredient preparation (measuring, mixing, portioning) and follow recipes accurately
• Operate production equipment such as mixers, ovens, and sheeters safely
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistency in quality and presentation
• Support packing, labelling, and dispatch of products according to specifications
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and traceability of products
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety standards
• Comply with ISO 22000, food safety, and regulatory requirements (e.g. SFA, MUIS/Halal)
• Rotate across departments (pastry, bakery, packing) based on operational needs
• Support administrative tasks such as production documentation
• Undertake ad hoc duties or projects assigned
