Job summary

HONSEN PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a production operations coordinator to ensure Manufacturing and Quality systems are followed and EHS programs are implemented. You will gather data, generate reports, plan production operations, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires bilingual English and Mandarin, strong problem-solving, and the ability to review and improve processes while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Or 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under tight schedules with good communication skills.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin for coordination with stakeholders.
• Ability to review, improve and implement processes.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking capabilities.
• Good visual acuity and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the Manufacturing and Quality systems are followed by the department personnel.
• Ensures safe working and good housekeeping practices through EHS programs.
• Gathers data and generates reports suitable for analysis.
• Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Monitor production status and coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete work orders for on-time delivery.
• Review work order schedule and determine priorities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
• Oversee smooth daily operations of the department.
• Monitor and update on wastages (time & material).
• Develop and implement new methods to optimize use of equipment, materials and manpower.
• Oversee ordering and delivery of materials, track inventory, and maintain purchase records.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensures that the Manufacturing and Quality systems are followed by the department personnel
• Ensures safe working and good housekeeping practices through the implementation of the EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) programs
• Gathers data and generates reports suitable for analyzing purposes
• Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Monitor production status & coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete work order for on-time delivery
• Review work order schedule and determine priorities & schedule to ensure on-time delivery
• Evaluate all aspects of the manufacturing processes to ensure optimal efficiency & productivity
• Ensures smoothness in daily operations of department, including others
• Monitors and updates on the operations' wastages (time & material)
• Develop and implement new and improved methods for optimizing the use of equipment, materials and manpower.
• Oversee the ordering and delivery of materials and equipment, track inventory, and maintain purchase records.

Experience, Qualification & Education

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
• OR
• 2 years of relevant experience
