Job summary

tee yih jia food manufacturing pte ltd is seeking a capable production supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in Singapore. The role requires leading a team, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring adherence to CGMP/ISO standards while maintaining safety and quality.

You will monitor processes, optimize efficiency, and participate in quality audits. Strong Mandarin and English communication is essential to liaise with diverse teams and ensure seamless production execution.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years hands-on production experience with at least 2 years leading teams
• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office proficiency
• Proficient in Mandarin and English for daily liaison with associates
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred
• Willingness to work proactively and take initiative with strong resourcefulness
• IT skills and ERP experience (SAP/EWM) advantageous

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage production staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules
• Coordinate daily production activities and allocate resources effectively
• Understand production schedules and prioritize production sequence for packaging and raw materials
• Ensure products meet quality standards; familiarity with CGMP, HACCP or ISO standards is a plus
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes
• Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions
• Assist in developing and executing production plans to meet customer demands
• Monitor processes and adjust schedules to optimize efficiency
• Enforce safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Conduct regular quality audits and safety inspections; address hazards or violations
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Maintain production records and generate performance reports
• Track KPIs and provide updates to management
• Train and mentor staff to enhance skills and performance
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members

Requirements

• Candidate with 4-5 years of hands-on experience and minimum of 2 years leading teams
• Basic Computer Knowledge and MS Office Knowledge
• Proficient in Mandarin and English as need to liaise daily with Mandarin and English speaking associates
• Experience in Food Manufacturing preferred
• Able to work interdependently with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.
• IT Skills and experience in SAP / EWM or related ERP system will be an advantage
