Job summary

WISMA RECRUITMENT CENTRE is seeking a seasoned Production Planner with 3+ years in electronics manufacturing. You will lead capacity planning, material flow, and supplier coordination to ensure on-time production. The role emphasizes strict scheduling, BOM accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities cover project management from order intake to shipment, with a focus on efficient production and procurement processes. Strong English and Mandarin communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Project Production: develop and implement capacity and production planning tools.
• Create and manage production tracking schedules for monitoring.
• Organize project team and assign key roles in the PET.
• Oversee project management from order to shipment and schedule estimates.
• Plan, monitor and manage the project schedule to meet deadlines.
• Maintain project records and documentation per in-house standards.
• Review production planning for order tracking and bill of materials checks.
• Support assembly to close MO and drive monthly output.
• Allocate resources and direct production activities to hit monthly targets.

Experience

• Material, Project Production & Purchasing Operation: ≥ 3 years
• Production/Assembly in Electronics components Industry: ≥ 3 years
• Familiar or Preferably in a Job Shop environment

Responsibilities

Project Production (70%)

• Administer and implement a sound capacity and production planning tool
• Provide comprehensive production tracking schedule for better monitoring
• Organize the project team and agree assignment of key personnel in project execution team (PET)
• Responsible for project management (from order, kick-off meeting to shipment) and prepare time schedule estimates for internal review and approval.
• Plan, monitor and manage the project schedule to ensure project completion according to schedule
• Maintain all project records and documentation according to in-house quality standards
• MO creation/planning upon receipt of approved drawings from engineering
• Review production planning for order tracking
• Check BOM as per drawing to release picklist and consume the items to production for assembly works
• Support Assembly to close MO (Production)
• Manage resources and direct production activities to meet monthly output

Purchasing/Logistics (30%)

• Interface with various parties, internal and external departments, suppliers so as to manage the entire order flow to meet committed / on-time deliveries.
• Analyse demand, order placement, out-sourcing of assemblies and execute operations involving capacity planning, material supply planning and control for production.
• Review inventory stock, productive materials demand, monitor MSL level based on the historical turns and rolling order forecast.
• Establish and recommend stocking of materials, components (negotiate with suppliers return policy of common/uncommon parts) to minimize stocks write off.
• Maintain inventory including determine of slow moving and obsolete parts and work with sales department to ensure materials and supply levels are properly maintained.
• Work closely with customer service to facilitate smooth billing process i.e. accurate advance packing list, timely arrangement of outbound freight, etc.
