Job summary

Ultra Clean Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant/Manager, Planning to lead a team of planners and drive material and production planning to meet delivery commitments.

You will coordinate with buyers, operations, programs and warehouse, manage 500-1000 items per project, optimize MRP/ERP workflows, and generate management reports.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in material/production planning, experience with SAP, Kinaxis, Power BI, and lean/six sigma exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in material planning, production planning, or supply chain with leadership experience.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Kinaxis) and dashboard analysis.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is advantageous to have.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Planners to achieve key performance goals.
• Plan & schedule materials to drive production meeting delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
• Maintain system data integrity and input purchase/fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify bottlenecks and develop contingencies to keep production flowing.
• Renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plans and pull in/out with suppliers.
• Execute materials planning and purchasing for production fulfillment.
• Review daily reports with Purchasing to ensure accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• To lead a team of Planners to achieve the key performance
• Parts maintenance checking before project kicks in
• Manage 500-1000 items per projects
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits
• Co-ordinate with other departments including Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate with quality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• At least 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, supply chain management, with leadership experience
• Having strong requirement of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, advanced excel, kinaxis, power BI, dashboard analysis)
• Experience with lean manufacturing or sig sigma is advantageous to have
