Job summary

UCT is seeking an Assistant/Manager, Planning to join our team in Singapore. You will lead a group of Planners, drive materials availability and schedule production to meet customer delivery commitments, while ensuring data integrity in ERP systems.

The role requires strong planning and leadership skills, experience with SAP/Kinaxis and advanced Excel, and a background in manufacturing/industrial engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in engineering or science with strong analytic skills.
• Experience leading planning teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Kinaxis) and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Planners to achieve key performance targets.
• Plan and schedule materials to meet production and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
• Manage data integrity in systems and input parts accurately.
• Forecast, renew and translate demand into material plans with suppliers.

UCT is looking for a talentedAssistant/Manager, Planningto join us inSingapore!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• To lead a team of Planners to achieve the key performance
• Parts maintenance checking before project kicks in
• Manage 500-1000 items per projects
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits
• Co-ordinate with other departments includingBuyer, Operations, Programme and Warehousefor on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate withquality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement

• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• At least 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, supply chain management, with leadership experience
• Having strong requirement of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, advanced excel, kinaxis, power BI, dashboard analysis)
• Experience with lean manufacturing or sig sigma is advantageous to have
