Job summary

Meat Direct Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Production Manager to drive daily and weekly production aligned with orders and delivery schedules. You will supervise production staff and ensure efficient meat processing, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include optimizing yield, costs and downtime, coordinating with purchasing and warehousing, maintaining equipment and updating SOPs, with a focus on continuous improvement and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Production planning: plan daily/weekly production according to orders and delivery schedules.
• Supervise production staff: supervise production workers, leaders and supervisors; arrange manpower and training.
• Meat processing: oversee cutting, trimming, deboning, marinating, cooking, sausage/ham production, packing.
• Food safety & hygiene: ensure HACCP, GMP, SFA requirements and company SOPs are followed.
• Quality control: check raw materials, production processes and finished products; investigate defects and customer complaints.
• Yield & wastage: monitor meat yield, wastage, spoilage, production costs and machine downtime.
• Inventory: coordinate with purchaser and warehouse teams to ensure sufficient raw materials and packaging.
• Equipment: ensure machinery is properly operated, cleaned, maintained and available for production.
• SOPs & documentation: develop/update SOPs, production records and work instructions.
• Continuous improvement: improvised ways to improve productivity, reduce costs and minimize wastage.
• Workplace safety: ensure workers follow WSH requirements and use appropriate PPE.

Our operations also include a manufacturing line for value-added meat products. As we expand, we are seeking a committed and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our growing team.
