Job summary

Meat Direct Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a diligent accounting professional to manage monthly close, AR/AP aging, and bank reconciliations. You will prepare payment documents, review supplier statements, and ensure adherence to financial policies.

You should be organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment; bilingual English and Chinese is preferred. The role supports production cost reporting and management accounts, with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

• Submit monthly accounts receivable/payables aging for review
• Handle office expenses, staff claims and bank reconciliation
• Prepare payment documents
• Reconcile AP invoices against suppliers' statements and chase overdue debts
• Perform month end closing and prepare management accounts and audit schedules
• Assist in monthly closing
• Chase and follow up with customers on outstanding payments
• Ad-hoc activities as assigned by management
• Ensure adherence to Accounting Financial Manual and Accounting Policies
• Calculate cost for production inventory

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely submission of monthly accounts receivable/ payables aging for review
• Handle office expenses, staff claims and bank reconciliation
• Prepare payment documents
• Reconcile of AP invoices against suppliers' statements, send statement of accounts to customers and chase overdue debts
• Perform month end closing of accounts including preparation of management accounts, bank reconciliations, and audit schedules
• Assist in monthly closing
• Chase and follow up with customers on outstanding payments
• Ad-hoc activities as assigned by management
• Ensure adherence to the Accounting Financial Manual and Accounting Policies
• Calculating cost for production inventory
