Qualifications

• Experience in application/production support for production systems.
• Hands-on Linux/Unix operating systems experience.
• Proficient in Bash/Shell scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting of application and production issues.
• Solid knowledge of Linux commands, processes, file systems, permissions and log analysis.
• Experience with Cron and batch job monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application support for production systems.
• Monitor applications, services, batch jobs and scheduled processes.
• Troubleshoot application, system and production issues in Linux/Unix environments.
• Perform log analysis and identify root causes of incidents.
• Develop, maintain and execute Bash scripts for automation and operations.
• Manage Cron jobs, processes, files, permissions and system utilities.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, database and other teams for issue resolution.
• Perform health checks, deployment support and post-deployment validation.
