FUJIFILM ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to own product quality, lead continuous improvement, and drive capital projects across a manufacturing plant.

You will manage documentation, root-cause analyses, and change control to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with 4+ years in a chemical processing environment; familiarity with PSM, AutoCAD or SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering is required. MS or higher in Chemical Engineering is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in a chemical processing environment is required.
• In-Depth knowledge with chemical engineering unit operations: mixing, filtration, material handling and distillation is helpful.
• Experience with PSM is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SAP is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own Product Quality and work with stakeholders to enable plant to supply Worry-Free products.
• Lead the team to update and maintain manufacturing documentation (SOPs, work instructions, batch cards, FMEA, Control Plan, MOC, P&ID).
• Own the Management of Change process for changes in plant processes or equipment.
• Lead root cause investigations for production, quality and customer issues; support Materials Engineering in raw material issues.
• Identify and lead data-based continuous improvement opportunities balancing safety, quality, cost, reliability and capacity.
• Develop a robust SQC/SPC program and update control limits; conduct trend reviews to keep processes in control.
• Ensure data accuracy and availability; promote data-based decision making across teams.
• Train production staff to follow procedures and understand impact of actions.
• Define sampling points, in-process tests, and coordinate with control systems to define control schemes.
• Drive best-practice sharing and transfer.
• Support EH&S and Quality initiatives and lead capital projects as needed.
• Lead process engineering projects including improvements, equipment installation, commissioning and optimization for safe, efficient plant operations.
