Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Process and Quality Control (Fab Operations) to lead the strategic design, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality and process control systems for Fab Operations.

You will drive yield improvement, defect reduction, and robust SPC/FDC/APC platforms, mentor a team of engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to balance quality stability with process efficiency and tool uptime.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in a technical field (Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering)
• 10+ years in semiconductor industry with 5+ years in leadership roles focused on Process Control, Quality Assurance or Yield Engineering in Fab environments
• Deep technical knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes across modules
• Expert-level knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, and Lean/Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred)
• Strong leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive a strategic roadmap for yield improvement and defect reduction across critical process modules
• Design and maintain advanced, real‑time SPC, FDC, and APC systems
• Manage cross‑contamination and balance R&D flexibility with tool health and repeatability
• Lead customer audits and drive customer-specific quality improvement plans
• Oversee RCA and CAPA activities for major process excursions and field returns
• Oversee metrology and inspection tool selection and maintenance
• Collaborate to define robust manufacturing process windows for NPIs
• Utilize data analytics to identify process drifts and predict failures
• Mentor and manage Quality Engineers and Technicians
• Balance quality stability with process efficiency and tool uptime
