Job summary

Mitsui Elastomers Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to support manufacturing on Jurong Island. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality while driving process improvements and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with 1–3 years of relevant experience or are entry-level applicants; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in process troubleshooting and recommend countermeasures for efficiency.
• Investigate plant troubles and identify areas for improvement or corrective actions.
• Facilitate trial production to support product development.
• Identify opportunities for process modifications and optimization.
• Conduct HAZOP studies and ensure safe operation of the process.
• Support quality investigations and studies.
• Regularly inspect equipment and maintain optimal manufacturing conditions.
• Participate in sustainability projects to optimize energy and resources.
• Conduct technical training to Supervisors and Technicians.
