The ideal candidate has a degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years in electronics manufacturing, with strong analytical and change-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related engineering/management field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or similar industry.
• Specialized knowledge in production control needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand overseas production control operations and floor-level topics.
• Study impact from external factors on planning, forecast, and customer data analysis.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Department: Production Control Department

Reports to: Production Control Manager

Functional relationships:

• Production control in Japan headquarter & factories.
• Production control in oversea affiliates: China & ASEAN

POSITION PROFILE:

This position works closely with various functional groups in manufacturing division to define requirements and propose appropriate solutions. To study external impacts and explore ideas to enhance production control systems for higher productivity, accurate forecast, and on-time delivery.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Understand production control operations in overseas, deeping down to production floor subjects and solutions
• Study impact from external factors on production control quality, such as planning forecast and customer information analysis, to improve functional ability in grasping demand and responding to changes.
• Explore business process optimization through bringing in successful stories of business units of other components
• Promote Innovation in the organization.
• Help improve the business performance by identifying the problematic areas and proposing relevant technical solutions.
• Work with business representatives to define requirements and design appropriate solutions.
• Share good practise in other business units and motivate team members to take higher challenges

Ability/Competency required:

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Economy or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of working experiences in electronics manufacturing industry.
• To have specialized knowledge in production control.
• To have logical thinking, analytical skill, and good business sense.
