Job summary

The candidate will collaborate across functions to identify data-driven cost-saving opportunities, study methodologies, automate calculations, and contribute to factory layout and productivity initiatives.

• Study and review cost-reduction calculation methodologies to improve accuracy, consistency, and reliability of cost-saving evaluations.
• Leverage IT and digital tools to automate cost-analysis and calculation processes, improving efficiency and reducing manual processing time.
• Support the planning and coordination of factory small-group improvement activities, including continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Support factory layout improvement projects to optimize space utilization, material flow, and operational efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of target material consumption and standard operation times to identify gaps and opportunities for cost and productivity improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, insights, and improvement ideas to support operational and cost optimization initiatives.
• Study and review cost-reduction calculation methodologies to improve accuracy, consistency, and reliability of cost-saving evaluations.
• Leverage IT and digital tools to automate cost-analysis and calculation processes, improving efficiency and reducing manual processing time.

Ability / Competency Required

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Economics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering cost analysis and cost-based decision-making; knowledge of management accounting will be an added advantage.
• Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate findings into meaningful insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze, organize, and present data effectively.
