Job summary

ScienTec Consulting is seeking a Product Manager to lead the planning and delivery of digital products from discovery and requirements through to release and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with designers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to define product direction, prioritise the roadmap, and deliver solutions that meet user and business needs.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Product Management experience, preferably with digital products.
• Proven ability to deliver digital products from discovery to production release.
• Experience in roadmapping, backlog management, prioritisation and requirements definition.
• Hands-on user research, discovery and product validation experience.
• Ability to use data and product metrics to guide decisions.
• Strong understanding of Agile product development and collaboration with design/engineering.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define product success metrics and KPI to evaluate performance and guide priorities.
• Ensure products meet diverse user groups and operational contexts.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions on direction, priorities, scope and trade-offs.
• Communicate decisions, rationale, roadmap and progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews and prioritisation.

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the planning and delivery of digital products from discovery and requirements through to release and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with designers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders to define product direction, prioritise the roadmap, and deliver solutions that meet user and business needs.

• Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic) + AWS
• Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog across key user journeys.
• Translate user needs, business requirements, and operational requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Prioritise features and enhancements based on user impact, business value, technical feasibility, and delivery constraints.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers, researchers, and engineering teams to take features from concept through development, testing, and release.
• Plan and conduct product discovery, user research, and validation activities.
• Analyse user feedback and research findings and translate them into actionable product improvements.
• Define product success metrics and KPIs and use data to evaluate product performance and inform future priorities.
• Ensure products are designed to support different user groups, needs, and operational contexts.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to align on product direction, priorities, scope, and trade-offs.
• Communicate product decisions, rationale, roadmap, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support Agile product delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and ongoing prioritisation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Product Management experience, preferably with digital products or platforms.
• Proven experience delivering digital products from discovery and requirements through development and production release.
• Strong experience in product roadmapping, backlog management, feature prioritisation, and requirements definition.
• Hands‑on experience conducting or supporting user research, discovery, and product validation.
• Comfortable using data and product metrics to guide decision-making and measure outcomes.
• Good understanding of Agile product development and experience working closely with design and engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex business or user needs into clear and practical product requirements.
• Experience with workflow, dashboard, scheduling, case management, or records-management systems will be advantageous.
• Experience working in government, public sector, or large enterprise digital transformation environments will be an added advantage.
