Job summary

Dyson in Singapore is seeking a Design Engineer in New Product Innovation to join a multidisciplinary team of engineers. You will contribute to discovery and development of disruptive product concepts and help realise approved concepts within the NPI framework.

You will engineer mechanical and electronic systems, design prototypes, run tests, interpret data, and collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to push innovative technologies to market.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or science.
Experience solving complex technical problems.
Ability to work in small focused teams.
Understanding of design processes and prototyping.
Experience with CAD and design validation.

Responsibilities

Generate ideas and translate market opportunities into product concepts.
Engineer mechanical and electronic systems for future specs.
Design and build functional prototypes for validation.
Interpret test data and present insights in reviews.
Develop scalable mechanical systems using CAD and simulation tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies.
Maintain design rationale and ensure traceability.
