Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore seeks a PDE KEG engineer to evaluate and qualify new equipment platforms, drive EMI/TOR governance, and collaborate with suppliers on advanced packaging solutions for future technology needs.

You will integrate AI-driven tools, lead continuous improvement, and participate in capital planning, with a focus on equipment maturity and production handover.

Qualifications

• PhD/Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, Materials, Mechanical Engineering or Physics & Applied Physics or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing assembly, wafer bumping packaging technologies & advanced packaging techniques.
• 0–2 years’ experience in related semiconductor industry or related manufacturing environment.
• Experience with equipment automation solutions is a plus.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Integrate AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Assist in evaluating and qualifying new equipment platforms.
• Define, develop and establish new equipment design/capability requirements aligned to Roadmap.
• Collaborate with suppliers to develop new capabilities.
• Plan/submit capital requests for new equipment.
