You will handle PRs, POs, DOs and invoices, negotiate with suppliers, monitor delivery schedules, and ensure QA/QC compliance. Immediate availability is a plus; salary ranges are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on procurement experience in ACMV, M&E or construction.
• Familiarity with ACMV equipment and site materials is a plus.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous with numbers, organized in a fast-paced project environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.

Responsibilities

• Process PRs, issue POs, and verify DOs and invoices promptly.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams on delivery timelines.
• Maintain vendor relationships and conduct supplier evaluations.
• Resolve delivery delays, damaged goods, or invoice discrepancies.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Procurement/ Purchaser to manage end-to-end purchasing activities for our engineering and construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and vendors to ensure timely material procurement, cost efficiency, and reliable supply chain operations, with a key focus on ACMV systems and construction materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Operations: Process purchase requisitions (PR), issue purchase orders (PO), and verify delivery orders (DO) and invoices accurately and promptly.
• Vendor Sourcing & Negotiation: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing, favorable credit terms, and reliable delivery schedules.
• Site Coordination: Liaise closely with project managers and site engineers to track material delivery timelines and prevent site disruptions.
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations, and manage supplier pre-qualification.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Manage issues regarding delivery delays, damaged goods, specification mismatches, or invoice discrepancies with vendors.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all purchasing workflows adhere strictly to company SOPs, budgetary limits, and project QA/QC requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Prior hands-on procurement or purchasing experience within the ACMV , M&E , or Construction industry.
• Familiarity with ACMV equipment, ducting, piping, and general site materials is strongly advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Meticulous with numbers, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced project environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP / procurement software.
• Immediate availability or short notice is a plus.

Salary Range: S$2,500 - S$3,500 (commensurate with experience)
