Job summary

Fuku in Singapore is seeking a procurement specialist to source, evaluate and purchase M&E materials, equipment and services for projects.

You will obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, issue POs, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and monitor deliveries. Diploma or Higher NITEC with at least 2 years in construction procurement is required; proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong negotiation skills are expected. A monthly salary range is listed with a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the construction or M&E industry.
• Experience purchasing M&E materials is preferred.
• Good knowledge of M&E products, suppliers, and the local construction market.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with good organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and purchase M&E materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Teams to ensure materials are delivered on schedule.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status, deliveries, and any discrepancies.
• Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis for management review.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management.
